OSM in Toronto Star

OpenStreetMap was mentioned in passing in an article in the Toronto Star on Saturday 07 Feb 2009.

A good example is the United Kingdom's Open Street Map where volunteers put GPS units on their bicycles to capture all of the geographic co-ordinates of streets.

While it shows an awareness of OSM, I hope the staff reporter, Debra Black, will join us at my talk on Tuesday to learn more. I was very pleased at the timing of this article. I was allowed to mention my upcoming talk at UofT in the comments.
